Rheinmetall, Germany's largest defense concern, has signed a contract with Romania for the supply of military equipment worth 5.7 billion euros, Bloomberg reports , citing a company statement. For Rheinmetall, this is the largest package of international contracts since the beginning of hostilities in Ukraine, the agency notes. Romania will purchase from Rheinmetall 298 Lynx armored vehicles, Skyranger air defense systems, medium-caliber ammunition, as well as four naval vessels.
