The Moscow City Court, chaired by Tatyana Solovieva, upheld the decision of the Zamoskoretsky Court, chaired by Natalia Nikishina, to extend the detention period for nine of the twelve defendants in the Bolotnaya case until February 24. A similar decision was made with respect to Alexandra Dukhanina (Naumova), who is under house arrest. Nikolai Kavkazsky, who is also under house arrest, had previously had his detention extended until January 2.

Amendments may be made later. Possible amendments include the exclusion from the number of articles covered by the amnesty of crimes related to terrorism and molestation of minors, as well as the extension of the amnesty not only to those convicted under articles on hooliganism and riots, but also to those who are at other stages of criminal prosecution for these articles.

On some of them, protocols were drawn up under Article 20.2. Two people are going to record the beatings received during the detention. We also note that the Tverskoy police department did not go without “adventures” - the detainees were held for about five hours, force was applied to the defense lawyer Alexei Gorinov, some detainees were threatened with article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offenses, which is inapplicable to them.
