Civil activist and publicist Pavel Shekhtman, accused of inciting hatred and enmity with the threat of violence for posting on Facebook, was released this afternoon from the temporary detention center of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Western District of Moscow. Last night, the Kuntsevsky District Court chose Shekhtman's recognizance not to leave as a preventive measure, refusing to arrest the activist.
