A 73-year-old human rights activist was arrested in Budennovsk for investigating the deaths of Russian soldiers.
In Budyonnovsk today Lyudmila Bogatenkova, head of the Committee of Soldiers' Mothers of Budyonnovsk and the Budyonnovsky District "Mothers of the Prikumye", was arrested and placed in a pre-trial detention center. This was reported on the website of the Citizen and Army project. The office of the organization was searched, at the same time Bogatenkova was charged under Art. 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (fraud).
