The Moscow City Court upheld the verdict against anti-fascist Alexei Sutuga, who was charged with hooliganism in the form of participating in a fight in a cafe. Sutuga was sentenced to three years and a month in prison in a penal colony. During the hearing, the defendant noted that the verdict was not only unfounded (Sutuga claims that he did not participate in the fight, but only tried to prevent it), but also unnecessarily harsh.

Yevgeny Zuev, an activist, told OVD-Info that today his immediate supervisor called him and said that he was under pressure from the central directorate of the infrastructure of the Moscow railway of Russian Railways, where Zuev works. The boss is required to dismiss Zuev “under the article” (with an entry in the work book of such a reason for dismissal, which may negatively affect subsequent employment).

The consideration of the appeal of the sentence to Alexei Sutug in the Moscow City Court was scheduled for 10 in the morning - almost 10 cases were planned for the same judicial board for this day, so the mother of Sutuga, several acquaintances and journalists were waiting for three hours. The convicted person was not delivered to the Moscow City Court, a video clip with a Butyrka worked. In the same cage with a stoop, waiting for his turn, several more people sat.
