Places for holding mass events are limited in Crimea
According to Krym. Realii”, the Council of Ministers of Crimea adopted a resolution stating that public events on the peninsula can now be held only in strictly designated places. There are only four such places in Simferopol now. According to the human rights activists of the Crimean Field Mission for Human Rights, such a normative act is a direct restriction of the freedom of peaceful assembly.

Alexander Kolchenko's arrest extended
The term of detention of anti-fascist Alexander Kolchenko has been extended until April 16, 2015. This decision was made today by the Lefortovo District Court, thus satisfying the petition of the investigation. The investigator argued his opinion about the need to extend the arrest of Kolchenko accused of committing terrorist acts, in particular, by the fact that the investigation period in this case was extended until April 28, 2015.

The Moscow City Court sentenced one of the participants in the case of Oleg Sentsov
As Mediazona reports , the Moscow City Court sentenced Gennady Afanasyev, who is involved in the case of the so-called Crimean terrorists, to seven years in prison. Director Oleg Sentsov, anti-fascist Alexander Kolchenko, and historian Alexey Chirniy are also involved in this case. The Mediazona website says that they were informed about the verdict in the Lefortovo District Court of Moscow.

The case of Ilya Romanov will be sent to court at the beginning of the year
On December 24, the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court extended the preventive measure for anarchist Ilya Romanov, accused of preparing a terrorist attack. His lawyer, Yevgeny Gubin, told OVD-Info that Romanov would be in the pre-trial detention center until at least February 2015, and they plan to transfer his case to court early next year.
