Vladimir Ionov and Mark Galperin were released from the Yakimanka police station after drawing up protocols under Article 20.2 of the Administrative Code. According to Galperin, both were written in the protocols that they were detained with Je suis Charlie posters. During the traditional Saturday opposition pickets on Manezhnaya Square, the police detained Vladimir Ionov and Mark Galperin, an eyewitness told OVD-Info. Ionov was detained during the picket at the moment when a second person approached him, who was also detained - according to eyewitnesses, this was a provocation. Halperin was detained a little later.

On the evening of December 30, the day of the verdict in the Yves Rocher Case, Moscow police detained about 250 people in the vicinity of Manezhnaya Square. The detainees were taken to 14 police stations, most of them were soon released without drawing up reports. About 70 people were kept under arrest until the morning on charges of disobeying lawful orders of police officers.

Letting go of the detainees, the police often requires them to sign the “obligation to turn out” to the police department or the court.
