The Moscow City Court extended the arrest period for the leader of the Right for European Development group Vitaly Shishkin until October 11. This was reported by the Moscow News Agency with reference to the ships. At the same time, Shishkin’s supporters said that the legal deadline for filing a petition to extend the arrest had passed, so the court had to change his preventive measure to a written undertaking not to leave. Shishkin has been in custody since February 2015.
