Doctors at Pre-trial Detention Center No. 1 in the Rostov Region recorded a hematoma on the left leg of Gennady Afanasyev, convicted in the case of “Crimean terrorists.” According to lawyer Alexander Popkov, Afanasyev was hit in the shin by an FSB officer after he refused to testify and claim pressure in court.

Street musicians were again detained on the Arbat. According to the OVD-Info hotline, two guitars and a drum were confiscated from three street musicians, fines of 2.5 thousand rubles each were issued. The police said they would return the instruments only after paying the fine. The removal of the instruments was not formalized.

The Investigative Committee opened a criminal case on the falsification of signatures collected in Novosibirsk in support of candidates from the "Democratic Coalition" in the elections to the regional legislative assembly. The case was opened under the article “falsification of election documents”. Its defendants are unidentified persons from among the authorized representatives of the PARNAS party, on the basis of which the Democratic Coalition was formed.
