The arrest period for the architect accused of breaking his shoulder straps has been extended until August 10
The Moscow City Court extended the arrest period for architect Sergei Akhmetov until August 10, 2016. Polina Nemirovskaya wrote about this on Twitter. Akhmetov is accused of using violence against a police officer, in the form of breaking his shoulder strap, during a gathering against the verdict of Alexei Navalny and Pyotr Ofitserov on July 18, 2013 in Moscow on Tverskaya Street. Akhmetov himself , who previously lived in St. Petersburg, reports that he has not been to Moscow since 2011.
