The Lumiere Brothers Moscow Center for Photography on September 25 announced the closure of the exhibition "Without Embarrassment" by Jock Sturges due to public outcry. This was reported to Interfax by the head of the center Eduard Litvinsky. On the morning of September 25, the entrance to the exhibition was blocked by people in the form of the Center for Crime Prevention and Russian Officers. Photographs from the scene were posted on Twitter by photographer Yevgeny Feldman.

On September 16, the Semenovsky District Court of the Nizhny Novgorod Region considered a petition for parole from lawyer Yuri Sidorov in the interests of Belarusian citizen Kirill Silivonchik, who is serving a sentence under Part 1 of Art. 205.2 of the Criminal Code (public calls for terrorist activities and public justification of terrorism). The court refused to satisfy the petition.
