LGBT activists received refusals to hold gay pride parades in different cities of Russia
Authorities in a number of other Russian cities have denied LGBT activists applications for their actions. In Tula, Kaluga, Ryazan, Vladimir , as well as Orel, Voronezh and Belgorod, their pickets, rallies and processions are prohibited. The refusals are motivated by the law on the prohibition of gay propaganda, the activists intend to appeal the refusals in the courts.
