The ECHR made a decision on the complaint of a journalist placed in a psychiatric hospital
On October 11, the European Court of Human Rights published a decision on the forced premises of journalist Ruslan Makarov in a psychiatric hospital after criticism of the head of Altai Alexander Berdnikov. According to the ECHR, in relation to Makarov, Article 5 of the European Convention on the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms, which provides for the right to freedom and personal integrity, was violated.
