In Crimea, Ukrainian citizen Volodymyr Balukh was charged with illegal possession of ammunition (Part 1, Article 222 of the Criminal Code). This was reported on December 14 by the Crimean Human Rights Group. Balukh was detained on December 8 after searches were made at his home and that of his mother. Law enforcement agencies said that during the searches, cartridges and TNT bombs were found.

On December 13, the Moscow Meshchansky Court arrested Alexander Horrshr, a participant in the civil movement “Unity of Equals,” in absentia for two months. This was reported by Kommersant with reference to Open Russia lawyer Sergei Badamshin. Currently, Alexander Horrshr is in Finland, where he received political asylum. On February 25, 2016, Alexander Horrshr was detained and taken to the FSB for questioning in a criminal case.
