An elderly man who came to the reception was detained in the reception room of the President of Russia in Moscow. This was reported to OVD-Info by a member of the civil movement "For Human Rights" Gayane Amrahova. According to her, the police were called by a reception worker named Serbina. The man, who is about 80 years old, was detained by eight policemen. They dragged him along the asphalt to the car.

Four activists were detained at a rally near the Orion cinema on Pilot Babushkin Street in Moscow. Mikhail Udimov and three underage participants of the action, standing near nationalist flags, were detained. Lyudmila Pudrik reported this to OVD-Info by phone. According to Pudryk, the action organized by the Yabloko party was dedicated to a protest against the construction of the Red Arrow stadium. The rally was also attended by people with nationalist symbols.

After a rally against the Yadrovo solid waste landfill in Volokolamsk, the police detained five Left Front activists: Vladislav Kharitonov, Ilya Getman, Rodion Kabanadze, Vadim Vasev and Alexander Vasilyev. This was announced by the leader of the “Left Front” Sergei Udaltsov.

Police officers are trying to counteract activists heading to anti-garbage rallies in the suburbs. Members of the Revolutionary Workers' Party told OVD-Info that activist Sergei Stoychenko was detained in Serpukhov in the morning before a rally against landfills and incinerators. There is no connection with him now, but he managed to report the arrest. Activist Denis Kunaev, who was on his way to the rally in Volokolamsk, tweeted that his car was stopped by traffic police.

In Kostroma, the regional coordinator of Navalny's headquarters, Alexander Zykov, was arrested again, accused of violating discipline while serving compulsory work. Zykov himself wrote about this on Facebook. The magistrate of court district No. 30 Anna Magdalinsky appointed him 15 days of arrest. On April 11, the magistrate of court district No. 6 already arrested him for two days, imputing the same violation of discipline.

In Serpukhov, people who introduced themselves as members of the criminal investigation department detained Stanislav Kiryushkin, an activist from the Left Bloc. This was reported to OVD-Info via a hotline by a man from the press service of the movement. According to his comrades, Kiryushkin is in the Serpukhovskoye police department. The Left Block connects the detention of the activist with a rally against the Lesnaya solid waste landfill, which is due to start at 12 noon.
