Relatives of the defendant in the Ufa Hizb ut-Tahrir case were not released from Russia
FSB officers did not release the wife, two young children and mother-in-law of Linar Vakhitov, a defendant in the Ufa Hizb ut-Tahrir case, from Russia. Vakhitov’s wife, Regina, reported this to the Memorial Human Rights Center. The woman said that on July 16, 2019, at the border checkpoint in the Kursk region, FSB officers, after checking documents, called Vakhitova and her mother for a conversation to clarify the purpose of the trip.
