Publicist and blogger Boris Stomakhin went on a hunger strike after he was transferred to the ShIZO prison in the city of Balashov, Saratov Region. This was reported by MBKh Media with reference to the activist of the International Committee for the Protection of Stomakhin Natalia Gorilskaya. In a conversation with MBKh Media, the activist said that Stomakhin went on a hunger strike after he was placed in the ShIZO, despite the objections of the prison hospital doctors.

In Kazan, police detained three environmental activists because of posters asking them not to litter and poems by Robert Rozhdestvensky. This was reported to OVD-Info by one of the detainees, Yekaterina Z. Activists Ekaterina Z., Deni B. and Diana K. taped a poster at the bus stop, after which they were approached by employees of the Center for Combating Extremism (CEC). Then more policemen came to them.
