The Lensky District Court of Yakutia sentenced the 43-year-old witness Jehovah Igor Ivashin to 6 years conditionally with a trial period, according to the website of Jehovah's Witnesses in Russia. Ivashin was found guilty of organizing the activities of an extremist organization (part 1 of article 282.2 of the Criminal Code). The court appointed him 6 years conditionally with a trial period of three and a half years and a ban on 5 years to occupy leadership positions in any public organizations.
