The leader of the “Citizens of the USSR” movement in Krasnodar was sent to a pre-trial detention center
The leader of the Citizens of the USSR movement, Marina Melikhova, was sent to a pre-trial detention center for two months. This was reported in Melikhova’s support group on VKontakte. The preventive measure against Melikhova was chosen as part of a criminal case under Part 2 of Article 280 of the Criminal Code (public calls on the Internet to carry out extremist activities). Currently, the activist is in pre-trial detention center No. 5 of the FSB of Krasnodar.

In Kazan, a court fined a Navalny campaign volunteer 30,000 rubles for a post about Putin. This was reported on the twitter of the headquarters. The volunteer was found guilty under the article on disrespect for the authorities (part 3 of article 20.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Earlier, employees of Center E filed a protocol against the activist due to the publication in February 2020 on Facebook of a photograph of a 1992 newspaper clipping depicting Putin.

In Moscow, the police block the office of the editorial office of the newspaper "Communists of Russia" for about a day. This was reported to the OVD-Info hotline by human rights activist Eduard Rudyk. Six new defendants in the case of protests in Vladikavkaz were sent to pre-trial detention center
The Leninsky District Court of Vladikavkaz issued decisions to impose a preventive measure on six new defendants in the case of a rally against the self-isolation regime. Interfax-South reports this with reference to the joint press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of North Ossetia. Court hearings were held on April 30 and May 1, 2020, all six defendants were sent to pre-trial detention, five of them until June 21, one until May 28, 2020.
