The ECHR awarded 49 thousand euros in compensation to seven people detained at protests from 2010 to 2014
The ECtHR awarded 49,000 euros in compensation following complaints from human rights defenders and activists detained for participation in protests from 2010 to 2014. This was reported on the website of the court. The court ordered Russia to pay from five to ten thousand euros to human rights activists Lev Ponomarev and Yana Teplitskaya, activists Mikhail Schneider, Philip Kostenko, Mikhail Krieger, Dmitry Vinogradov and Alexander Shcherbakov.
