The court upheld compulsory work for a journalist due to participation in the congress of the Oirat-Kalmyk people
The Supreme Court of Kalmykia upheld 40 hours of compulsory work for journalist Valery Badmaev, which he was assigned because of the congress of the Oirat-Kalmyk people. This is reported by Kavkaz.Realii. The congress was held on May 29, about 200 people took part in it. The next day, the participants in the event were detained - among them was Badmaev, editor-in-chief of the Sovremennaya Kalmykia newspaper.
