On Red Square in Moscow, activist Ivan Filyushin was detained with a piece of paper on which was written "No to war." He himself informed OVD-Info about this. The activist walked with a piece of paper in his hands from the Lubyanka metro station to Red Square, where he was detained. He was taken to the OP "Kitay-gorod". What is going to be imputed to the activist is not yet known.

In Moscow, on Pushkinskaya Square, police officers detained two picketers Yevgeny Zarubin and Yevgeny Ivanov. They themselves reported this to OVD-Info. Zarubin took to the square with a poster “No to trumped-up cases! Freedom for political prisoners”, and Ivanov – “There is no another war with Ukraine. No more term for Navalny!” The detainees are being taken to the police station in the Basmanny district. A lawyer from OVD-Info Alexander Salamov came to their aid.

The Rostov Regional Court increased by two months the term of imprisonment for Akhsartag Aylarov and Bimbolat Bekuzarov, who were convicted in the case of mass riots due to a rally against “coronavirus” restrictions in Vladikavkaz. This was reported by the portal "Caucasian Knot". On February 18, a court in Rostov-on-Don considered appeals against the sentences of five defendants in the case of mass riots.

In Troitsk, the spouses Aleksey and Maria Filatov were detained, who participated in a people's gathering in defense of the Trinity Forest. Some time later, she was released, but it is not yet known whether a protocol was drawn up against her.

Police in Novosibirsk detained civil activist Andrey Kaygorodtsev after he held a one-man picket with a placard "All cities of Russia - Together we are one." This was reported to OVD-Info by Kaygorodtsev himself. The man unfolded his poster in the city center and stood with it until a policeman approached him and demanded to stop picketing.

The Cheryomushkinsky District Court of Moscow extended the term of detention for Left Bloc activists Lev Skoryakin and Ruslan Abasov. This was reported by lawyers from OVD-Info Evgenia Grigorieva and Alexander Salamov, representing the interests of the accused. Skoryakin and Abasov will remain under arrest at least until February 28. Now they are in pre-trial detention center-2 “Butyrka”.
