The case of “fake news” about the army against a Kaliningrad activist went to court
The Soviet City Court of the Kaliningrad Region registered a case against local activist Igor Baryshnikov, accused of distributing “fakes” about the Russian army (Article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). In Voronezh, a case was opened against local resident Andrei Biryukov under the article on justification of terrorism (Article 205.2 of the Criminal Code), the man was sent to a pre-trial detention center until September 25. The mother of the accused, Tatyana Biryukova, reported this to OVD-Info. The man was detained on July 28 after a search in the apartment where he lives with his mother’s elderly parents. His laptop, passport and higher education diploma were confiscated.
