The defendant in the case of “fake news” due to a Radio Liberty survey has had his charges increased
The Moscow defendant in the case of “fakes” about the army, Yuri Kokhovts, was charged with more severe charges, accusing him of spreading “fakes” motivated by hatred or enmity (clause “d”, part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code). This was reported by OVD-Info lawyer Elena Sheremetyeva, who is participating in the case. Previously, the man was charged with the first part of the article, which provided for a more lenient punishment: up to five years in prison instead of ten.
