A Chechen who was tortured due to suspicions of homosexuality faces extradition from Armenia
A native of Chechnya, Salman Mukaev, who reported being tortured in the republic because of suspicions of homosexuality, is facing extradition from Armenia. This is reported by human rights activists from the Crisis Group of the IC SOS. At the moment, Mukaev is in Yerevan, they refuse to let him go to third countries due to the fact that he was put on the wanted list in Russia. On May 25, the RA Administrative Court will hold a hearing on the issue of his extradition to Russia.
