An ex-participant of PARNAS, convicted because of anti-war posts, was threatened by his cellmate with imprisonment
Former co-chairman of the Togliatti branch of the PARNAS party Andrei Balin, sentenced to seven years in the case of anti-war posts, told OVD-Info lawyer Zakhar Lebedev that his cellmate threatened to imprison him. According to the man, the cellmate said that he would pierce his throat at night. He motivated his aggression by the fact that Balin speaks too poorly of Vladimir Putin. Lebedev added that the conflict twice escalated into fights.
