A Krasnodar man's sentence was overturned because of a portrait of Putin's penis, the case was sent for review
On March 20, the Krasnodar Regional Court overturned the sentence of Krasnodar resident Vladimir Yarotsky in the case of public desecration of symbols of military glory on the Internet (Part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code) because of a picture of a penis with a St. George’s ribbon referencing Putin. Kommersant-Kuban drew attention to the appeal ruling . On December 5, 2023, the Pervomaisky District Court of Krasnodar sentenced Yarotsky to one and a half years in prison.
