The Sevastopol court received a case of participation in an “undesirable organization” against a journalist
On April 23, the Leninsky District Court of annexed Sevastopol registered an administrative case against journalist Anastasia Zhvik for participation in the activities of an “undesirable organization” (Article 20.33 of the Administrative Code). Mediazona drew attention to the case file on the court’s website. Zhvik is not located in Russia. The court plans to consider the materials of her case on May 23.

A court in Komi arrested four members of the Free Russia Forum in absentia on terrorism charges

The emigrated spouses from Anadyr were sentenced in absentia to seven years in prison in the case of “fake news”
The Anadyr City Court of the Chukotka Autonomous Okrug sentenced in absentia the spouses Anastasia and Roman Nazaruk, who left the country, to seven years in prison each in cases of disseminating “fakes” about the Russian army motivated by hatred (clause “d”, part 2 of article 207.3 of the Criminal Code).
