Cassation Court upholds sentence for Moscow activist Mikhail Kriger: seven years in prison
The Russian Supreme Court upheld the verdict of activist Mikhail Kriger in a case over his Facebook posts in cassation. This was reported by his support channel. Krieger took part in the hearing via video link. In his speech, the activist addressed Russians, in particular, residents of Belgorod, and spoke about the inadmissibility of war. The judge interrupted him and said that he "does not recommend making such statements" and demanded that he speak on the merits.
