Russian films received 20 % screen time in cinemas Large Russian cinema networks agreed to introduce a quota to show domestic films. The relevant agreement was signed on Wednesday by Minister of Culture Vladimir Medinsky and representatives of the film, Interfax reports . Under the contract signed by the leaders of Sinema Star, Karo, Paradise, Mirage Cinema and Kinomax, Russian films will take 20 % of the screen cinema time per year. The document comes into force on January 1, 2016.
