The real income of Petersburgers fell 3.1 %in 2016, Petrostat reports on March 1. At the same time, the average salary in the cities amounted to 48.7 thousand rubles, which is 10.5 % more than in 2015. But the real wage, calculated with inflation, grew by only 3.3 %. At the end of the year, there were 11.9 thousand official unemployed in the city, which is 12 % less than a year earlier. At the same time, St. Petersburg employers owed 1342 employees of 116 million rubles.
