In Russia, a ban on sound advertising on the streets entered into force
On Wednesday, August 25, a ban on sound advertising on the streets entered into force in Russia. Trade centers, shops, markets and other organizations now cannot distribute advertising using sound equipment assigned to buildings. The initial version of the law also said about the ban on megaphones and portable columns, which are often used by promoters, but the restrictions were softened - they concern only speakers on buildings. The ban also does not apply to sound advertising indoors.
