What did Georgia lose in 2008? The consequences of the war in numbers
Formally, the war between Russia and the Georgia of the year lasted six days, from August 7 to 12 (although the Russian authorities consider the 8th number of the war). But with the consequences of the invasion, Georgia is still encountered daily, after 15 years. The August war is not only dead soldiers, police officers, journalists and civilians, but also ongoing occupation and “brothelization”, as well as the still not solved problem of refugees and divided families near the line of contact.
