Children of same-sex couples do just as well in life as children of different-sex parents, and in some cases, even better, according to a new study. “In countries and regions where same-sex relationships are legal, the development of most children in queer and heterosexual families is similar, but queer families have better outcomes in some areas,” says the study , published in BMJ Global Health, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal .
