With the distress of the drifting station North Polyus-32, Russian polar explorers were evacuated. The Mi-26 helicopter with 12 polar explorers on board is sent to Spitsbergen, NTV reports. Some time ago, the second Mi-26 arrived in the Drafa area with rescuers on board. About an hour before, the first Mi-8 helicopter was located on the ice floe, where the North Polyus-32 is located, said Yuri Tsaturov, First Deputy Head of Roshydromet.
