400 thousand Russian -language books in the United States were sent to the garbage processing station
The Russian bookstore, for a long time, who was a refuge of immigrants, researchers and - as some say - even the CIA spies and agents during the Cold War, unexpectedly closed the door last week, after its owner was deprived of property, reports the Gazette publication. Thousands of books, all in Russian, some still packed in plastic containers, were sent to the Garbage Processing Station in Shady Growv.
