Zhukov: Inflation in 2007 will be no more than 8%
According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Zhukov, inflation in Russia in 2007, according to government forecasts, will be no more than 8%, and in 2008-5-5.5%, RBC reports. According to him, the government will also try to maintain inflation this year at 9%. Among other issues that have to be resolved in the coming years, Zhukov called plans to maintain the rate of economic growth at at least 6% per year, to prevent the rapid strengthening of the ruble and solve social problems.
