Russians prefer mobile phones to computers
According to a survey conducted by the analytical center of Yuri Levada, over the past 6 years, the number of Russians who have not only a home phone, but also a cell phone has increased. So, in 2001, only 4% of Russians and 17% of Muscovites were users of mobile communications, and in 2006 their number increased, respectively, to 58% and 70%. However, most Russians still do not have a home computer and do not use the Internet.
