The State Duma on Tuesday approved the amendments to the Labor Code, allowing the government to attach part of the New Year holidays to any other state holidays, Interfax reports. According to amendments, starting in 2013, the New Year holidays in Russia will celebrate from January 1 to 8, including the Christmas of Christ. Two days off, coinciding with these holidays, will be transferred to other days in the next calendar year.
