The ancient Dionysus Theater, located near the Acropolis in Athens, opens a new season after 2.5 thousand years, the RIA Novosti website reports. On September 22, the performance “Monologists”, staged by the composer and pianist Yorgos Kurepos, will be played on his stage. The performance includes readings of excerpts from the tragedy of Aeschylus "Coicked by Prometheus", as well as the performance of musical works by Janis Xenakis, Vivaldi and Gluck.
