Poroshenko spoke out against a referendum on joining NATO
The presidential candidate of Ukraine, a businessman and People’s Deputy Petro Poroshenko considers it inappropriate to hold a referendum on Ukraine’s entry into NATO, Interfax reports. In his opinion, a referendum, if it is held at the current stage, will not provide unity to society, but on the contrary, will share the country. In addition, if most citizens speak out in a referendum against joining NATO, this issue will close this issue for many years.
