Ex-Prime Minister of Thailand is placed under house arrest
Former Prime Minister of Thailand Yinglak Chinavat was transferred under house arrest, reports The Wall Street Journal . In the capital of Thailand Bangkok, despite the ban on the military, demonstrations continue. As it became known earlier, after the military coup on May 22, the new authorities began to detain former government officials. Chinavat was detained on May 23, it was kept at a military base.
