Council at the Central Bank
On Tuesday night, the Board of Directors of the Central Bank decided to raise the key rate to 17%. The regulator, it seems, did not take any other noticeable steps, so the ruble strengthened in the morning, but then continued to fall, against the background of which yesterday’s charts look quite flat. Already at just over three o’clock a dollar cost 80 rubles, and a euro cost more than 100 rubles.
