An employee of the Lawrence University of Technology, an algorithm of visual information analysis , Lior Shamir created a program that, according to him, is able to distinguish fake and real paintings by Jackson Pollock. The problem of fakes of Pollock paintings is very acute, since the “spraying technique” used by the artist can be easily mastered even by the child. This fact does not give rest to many critics of Pollock, who refuse his works in the right to be called art.
