The representative of Nigeria is elected new Secretary General OPEC
Members of the organization of exporting countries (OPEC) elected the representative of Nigeria Muhammad Barkindo by the new general secretary of this organization, the press service of the cartel reports. The new Secretary General of OPEC will take office from August 1, 2016 for a period of three years. At a meeting in Vienna, it was also decided that from July 1, 2016, OPEC would accept Gabon to the organization.
