The law on cassation and appeal courts passed the first reading
The State Duma deputies adopted in the first reading the bill of the Supreme Court on the allocation of cassation and appeal courts into a separate structure. This was reported on the website of the lower house of parliament. The draft law proposes to divide the country into nine judicial cassation districts with centers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Krasnodar, Kaluga, Kazan, Kemerovo, Pyatigorsk, Perm and Vladivostok.
