News from the past: October 25, 1999 - Tula peasants, in protest, distributed 20 apples in Moscow for free in Moscow
Today in Moscow near the 1905 metro station, a group of visitors from Tula distributed twenty boxes of apples for free, reports Echo of Moscow. The free distribution was a protest under the motto "We will turn Moscow from the banana capital into the capital of Russia." The organizers from the Interregional Union "Breakthrough" claim that in Moscow, due to requisitions and the high cost of places, there is no way to trade at low prices by domestic fruits and vegetables.
