Chemists revealed the secrets of the ancient sculpture of the horse
A group of chemists from the University of Cincinnati , led by Pietro Strobbia (Pietro Strobbia), studied the ancient ceramic figurine of a horse made in China under the Tan dynasty, and revealed the hidden details of its history. The study was conducted at the request of the Cincinnati Art Museum, where this sculpture has been stored since 1997. The sculpture of a horse of 67 centimeters is made of faience using several pigments.
