In 2022, 35-year-old native of Ulyanovsk Alexander Platov, who was imprisoned for the murder of his wife, was “lucky” - he was recruited into the Wagner PMC. Six months later, he came home as a free man, but a peaceful life was not for him. At the end of 2024, he signed a contract with the Ministry of Defense and returned to the front.
