Eduard Limonov
Your humble servant is of the belief that by choosing politics, a person consciously agrees to greater openness in his life. Public activity obliges. What is inappropriate in relation to a private person is appropriate, and even necessary, in relation to a public figure, since the fate of other people depends on him to a much greater extent. Therefore, Eduard Veniaminovich should not have any complaints against the author for making his character-ethical-psychological portrait public.

The House of Human Rights discusses Voronezh roads without fools
On August 24, a meeting of the public initiative group for the development of transport infrastructure was held at the Voronezh House of Human Rights. From the very beginning, this group became a meeting place for people who are concerned about the situation on city roads, regardless of civil and political preferences.

"Everything is drowning in pharisaism..."
"Everything is drowning in pharisaism..." Pasternak wrote an ominous phrase. For all time. Although I would not have disturbed this popularly familiar topic if it had not been for an accident near the court on August 17. The disputes did not subside there until the night. Near me, two people were furiously discussing the same thing, and one, finding no more arguments, suddenly barked: - Go... to church!

About the creative plans of Pussy Riot, or How do Americans evaluate the scandalous group?
“We hasten to disappoint the Kremlin bastards: 2 women left the country due to dangers, but at least 12 Pussy Riot members remain in Russia,” the infamous Pussy Riot group reported on Twitter three hours ago. "Impale the rabid pelotaks! And crucify all the pedoleberasts on crosses!" - comments @sovprezidenta . Feminists who left Russia, with the help of their Western comrades, intend to prepare new actions ( @pussy_riot ).

"Bolotnaya case" in Artefaq
Yesterday, a creative evening was held at the Artefaq club in support of political prisoners in the “May 6th Case” . Great event, there were a lot of good people. We collected 375 thousand rubles, which will be used to help prisoners. Plus, Artefaq will use 10% of the bar’s revenue from yesterday for the same purpose. Many thanks to all the organizers of the evening and special thanks to RosUznik .

1/3 of women vote with hormones, 2/3 of Russians choose with their hearts, 1/5 decide in the booth
My definition of myself as a democrat out of despair and my tendency to dream of a society with an educational qualification for voters often causes laughter or a condescending smile. This is the best case scenario. It happens that timid attempts to imagine a country where they vote with their minds seem completely extremist. Meanwhile, let's do the math. With a claim to responsibility for the data provided, I will say: - about 10% of voters automatically vote for the current government.

Who opened Pandora's box?
Let's separate the wheat from the chaff. The Pussy Riot action in the CSU is pure politics. Not fooled by Surkov’s propaganda and the aggressive rhetoric of the speakers of the Russian Orthodox Church, the world media unanimously insist that the girls were imprisoned precisely for the anti-Putin song. And then it went as usual. They ruined his holiday, and he ruined their life.

Drunk scum
Two people died in a terrible accident in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The Subaru crashed at full speed into a Niva parked on the side of the road. The heavy impact caused the domestic SUV to overturn. The driver of the foreign car and his passengers escaped with minor injuries, and instead of helping the victims they continued to celebrate something.

The Russian Orthodox Church is looking for them
I quote without any humor. “The interregional public movement in support of Orthodox educational and social initiatives “Bee” has developed instructions for Orthodox citizens on how to counter blasphemers . If the temple you are in is attacked by blasphemers, you need to do the following: 1. To divert the blasphemer’s attention from attempts to desecrate the temple to himself by spitting in his face. 2. If the blasphemers use masks to hide their faces, tear off these masks. 3. Call the police.

Dolce vita
Only the lazy did not disposal the news that Sting, after he stood up for Pussey, immediately went to Italy to take part in the Silvio Berlusconi in a cramped between Putin's birthday. Italian journalists conducted an investigation and found out that Sting really came to Italy to speak at his birthday, but not a mythical Putin sister, but at the birthday of Irina Viner, the coach Alina Kabaeva and the former trustee of Putin in the last presidential election.

Sunday confession: about crucifixions and more
All this time, starting with the attack on “Beware of Religion” (I was not even at this exhibition as a spectator), I have been saying: the artistic space is through the looking glass. The artist’s statement is a gesture, not an act, just as playing an actor in a film as a bandit is not a crime, so the painting “Ivan the Terrible kills his son” is not a call for murder. The artist has the right to the most radical gestures while remaining in it. But they didn't hear me.
